Fig-A pic of Schistosoma sent by onee of my patients

Today in OrganonEasy classes we discussed Para 23 of introduction and it's footnote (F.N. are often important in Homoeopathic philosophy)

We discussed worm affections and Hahnemann's stand on these vermicular diseases. And we added that these worm affections are not only due to psoric taint as narrated by Hahnemann but also may be of Tubercular origin like Pin worms (H.A.Roberts).

Above is pic of Schistosoma which is sent by one of my patients. This worm is affecting her bladder. This is one of the rare kinds of worm infections the lady happened to be of predominantly sycotic miasm eventually I have prescribed her Thuja on totally of symptoms we can sum-up that worm affections may be of any taint depending upon which worm is affecting and what is the mode of affection.

We discussed also that how and why many of our stalwarts have subscribed to worm theory. And under light of aphorism 186 we reached at an idea that when this worm is affecting our patients mechanically due their increased quantity vermifuges is necessary we discussed one of my cases where a middle aged gentleman suffered from nocturnal enuresis and have resisted all sort of prescription from different angles finally got cured with Teucrium basing on assumption that this is due mechanical irritation of bladder by worms.
This case was then followed up with anti-miasmatic treatment.
